The Bigg Boss 12 finale reached its dramatic climax declaring Dipika Kakkar the winner, while Sreesanth remained to be the 1st runner up and Deepak turned out to be the 2nd runner up. Despite of the lot of ups and downs throughout the season, the brother-sister duo of Dipika and Sree took the top position.
A lot of Twitterati and Instagram moments followed the entire week favouring and subbing the contestants. Top of that was the actress and former Bigg Boss winner, Shweta Tiwari who urged the audience to vote for her good friend Karanvir Bohra. Sharing her request on Instagram, she followed her appeal.
However, the 4 finalists out of the 12 contestants, namely Sreesanth, Romil Chaudhary, Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar and Deepak Thakur remained in the show, out of which Dipika survived to be the final winner.
Another Twitter fight that came up in the last week was between Gauahar Khan and Sreesanth’s Wife Bhuvneshwari that turned into a true Twitter Spat. This came out due to a task urge by Gauahar who requested Sreesanth to convince his sister, Dipika to put her husband-Shoaib’s jacket and the ‘nikaah dupatta’ in the storeroom. However, Sree’s refusal to the task led to the Twitter barney between Gauahar and Sreesanth’s wife Bhuvneshwari.
The gripping journey of the complete drama show of Bigg Boss, season 12 comprised of a total 105 days of total politics, endurance, physical and mental stability and patience. It was mainly due to the calm and composed nature of Dipika Kakar that she could carry the winner’s trophy and a cash prize worth Rs. 30 lakh, home.
Staging full on loads of controversies, fun zone world, and dirty politics, the final five were- former Indian cricketer Sreesanth, Dipika Kakar and Karanvir Bohra, Romil Choudhary and Deepak Thakur, who made it to the finale.
Karanvir remained to be the first contestant to get eliminated out of the top 5. The next was Romil Choudhary, who was later announced as the third runner-up of the season.
The top 3 contestants- Deepak, Sreesanth and Dipika were given the striking chance to take away 40% share of the prize money and walk out of the show. After a lot of thoughts and assessment, Deepak decided on taking the cash price. So, he decided to leave the show taking the money. However, this money was deducted from the prize money that was set for the final winner.
Between a number of stage shows and cultural events that decorated the show, the final verdict came out. Salman Khan reposed a lot of drama and total suspense throttling around the show before announcing the final winner of the show.
After a lot of suspense show, Salman announced Dipika as the Bigg Boss 12 winner while, Sreesanth turned out to be the first runner-up of this season of Bigg Boss 12.
A total mix of 17 contestants, including both- celebrities and commoners joined the show with intent to win the winner’s title.
